Pros and cons of Battlevoid: First Contact app for iPhone and iPad

Battlevoid: First Contact app good for

It is hard to play which makes it fun and free to play which is an improvement.
I like the Kickstarter campaign so Im giving this 5 stars, but opening the app just shows the BugByte logo in one size, resizes it after a few seconds, then does nothing for ~20 seconds before crashing. Is there a minimum iOS required for this app? Im on my trusty old iPhone 4, which I have deliberately not updated past iOS 6 (because new iOS is ugly iOS :P)
Entertaining free app. Great game, try this space manager out! Support maker if you like it.
The free mission is entertaining & runs great. RogueLike challenge with no advertising. Fun good graphics, cant say enough download it.
Im a huge fan of the command your own fleet part, but the station rotating is annoying. And there needs to be more ships and more gameplay.
A nicely made space themed RTS. Lots of detail, you can choose what weapons to arm your fighters with and their tactics, build and upgrade your weapons. There is no need to micro but you can if you want to. Reminds of a RTS version of a Master of Orion battle. Looking forward to the full game later on.

Some bad moments

The game overwhelms you with micromanagement (you start off by choosing jobs for all HUNDRED of your crew), instead of making interesting choices. The first few waves are just a few puny enemy fighters that are easy to destroy. You have to research most upgrades to unlock them, but one of the very few upgrades you start off with is boarding shuttles that hijack enemy capital ships... but no capital ships ever showed up before I got bored of this! I looked up gameplay videos to see if it gets more interesting later, but the videos showed that it does NOT!
Unbalanced toward a fighter based defence. Easy if you go with fighters, impossible if you go with hard point defence.
This game has a lot of potential, it seems like it would be a great game if there was a little bit more content then buying everything. If this game gets some good updates then I think it would be a great game.
The game has solid mechanics and is very fun for the short time you get to play (49 waves.) It falls short in content. There dont appear to be very many items in the game so play throughs feel the same quickly. I really enjoyed the game but dont want to spend money for each additional chapter as is.
Scaling larger than the screen. Cutoff on top and right. Please look into this.
This game is fun and challenging. Extra episodes are worth the challenge. I hope the developer actually adds the upgrades. Also, more stats on the menu would be nice for turrets and stuff.
